Shop at Thirty-One and
raise funds for Read Aloud
June 4, 2011 -- Thirty-One has offered Read Aloud West Virginia 20 percent of all proceeds from sales made at this SPECIAL LINK through June 15, 2011. The website, thirtyonegifts.com offers stylish purses, accessories and products for organized and busy women and their families.
The fundraiser was set up with the help of local Thirty-One consultant Kelly Broyles.
Read Aloud West Virginia uses funds to put books in the hands of children who have few or no books of their own. Read Aloud organizes and maintains classroom materials for teachers to use to help young people discover reading for fun, because kids who read for fun read more and read better. The organization assists county Read Aloud groups with local activities. Read Aloud also recruits and trains volunteers to read regularly to children in classrooms, day-care centers and after-school programs.
